MERCY MINISTRIES
Food Pantry

Our Food Pantry serves around 200 families on the first Friday of each month. We are in need of your support. We have been abundantly blessed by numerous private donations since the beginning of the ministry 11 years ago. We are always seeking volunteers to help with various tasks throughout the month. If you are available to volunteer, or have any questions, please contact John Tomlins. Even if you can’t regularly volunteer, drop by the 1st Friday of each month from 8 to 10am and experience the wonderful blessing of this BE Church outreach to the Peoria community in the name of Jesus!

Bradley Epworth’s Food Pantry was organized & continues to exist today as part of our constant effort to do the things that Jesus did. We offer food assistance to those in need on the first Friday of each month and recently distributed food to over 200 families. As the need grows so does God’s provision. Even though we sometimes are overwhelmed by the crowd, we are always able to put together a basket of food for anyone who comes. Our funds are derived solely from the generosity of Church members and others in the community and we’ve been able to stretch our budget by shopping at the Peoria Area Food Bank, distributing government commodities which come to us at no charge, and by contributions from the Midwest Food Band, which is also free of charge. Although we can always use help, we have an awesome group of faithful volunteers, who work tirelessly each month.

Visitation
We visit those in their home who are  unable to come to church, those recovering in the hospital, and those in nursing homes offering the salvation of Jesus and a friendly visit from the BE Church body.
