“Anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf welcomes me, and anyone who welcomes me welcomes not only me but also my Father who sent me.”
Mark 9:37

4’s & 5’s

Bradley Epworth considers every family with a newly born baby a unique opportunity to show love and support!

Nursing Mothers Room (Above the coffee ministry in the foyer)

This room is private and comfortable. It includes everything you need to take care of your baby. A pack & play, toys, blankets, changing station and rocking gliders are available. There is also a television with video and audio feed from the sanctuary.

Calming Station (Upstairs across from the office)

Parents can use this space to calm their newborn or toddler before returning to the nursery or service. A security team is always located in this area during each service.

Infant’s Nursery (Upstairs in the Nursery hallway)

Trained volunteers are in the nursery during both services. Parents are welcome to leave their baby with our competent and loving volunteers. In addition, parents can use this space to change their baby’s diaper or tend to other needs. The volunteers’ ministry in this room is to show every child the love of Jesus by tending to their needs.

Toddler’s Nursery – 1 to 3 years (Nursery hallway)

Everything taught at Bradley Epworth is Bible Based, Christ Centered and Spirit Filled. This includes the youngest members of the church body! The toddler nursery serves children from 18 months to 3 years old. This room introduces a scheduled routine.

The children settle in and play with their friends and all the awesome toys! Afterwards, leaders ask them to help clean up before beginning the lesson.

“The Jesus Storybook Bible” is the current curriculum for the toddler nursery. These lessons introduce the fact that every story in the bible points to Jesus. 44 stories are covered from the Old and New Testament. Vivid illustrations and animated videos help bring these stories to life!
Leaders give each child a take-home sheet to color. This is a great tool for parents to use when reviewing the lesson with their children at home!

Snack Time

Leaders help the class recite a Bible verse during snack time. Afterwards, everyone joins in worship and prayer to conclude the lesson. This includes fun instruments and music videos!
Ultimately, our goal is to reflect the character and love of Jesus to your family and show your children that the entire Bible tells the story of God’s rescue plan for us through His son, Jesus!

4’s & 5’s Room (Nursery Hallway, 11am service only)

Welcome to the 4’s & 5’s Sunday school room! This classroom’s schedule is similar to the toddler room but more structure is added along with an expectation of participation.

After 15 minutes of playtime, the lesson begins. “The Gospel Project” for Preschoolers is our current curriculum. Each lesson is specifically targeted for 4 & 5 year old children and the stories covered teach that every Bible story points to Jesus.

Next, the children enjoy activity sheets that relate to the lesson. This is a great tool for parents to use when reviewing the lesson with their children at home.

Snacks and Prayer Time

The class recites a Bible verse during snack time! Afterwards, everyone joins in worship and prayer to conclude the lesson. During this time, the children are asked to go into their “prayer cave” and practice listening to Jesus with the ears of their heart. Leaders suggest prayer topics. For example; ‘owies’, favorite stuffed animals, lost toys, or family members. Many children at this age ask Jesus into their heart!

Elementary – 1st through 4th grade (Fellowship Hall)

Children’s Ministry fulfills our principle of being Bible Based by presenting a 3-year curriculum entitled “The Gospel Project” For Kids. This takes the students on a journey through the Bible by covering the gospel in every story, theological concept and call to mission.

Fulfilling our identity as a church that is Christ Centered, children are taught the story of the Bible and how all of its stories fit together to tell one big, redemptive story. We believe heart transformation can only take place when a child experiences the gospel of Jesus Christ and His redemptive plan for us.
Leaders explain the importance of having a personal relationship with Jesus during each lesson. Discussion includes the importance of spiritual disciplines. For example; reading the Bible, talking to God, telling others about Him, journaling, and worshiping God through music, song and art!

Birthday Sunday Celebrations

The principal of being Spirit Filled is fulfilled with Birthday Sunday Celebrations. Leaders explain the ability to listen to the guidance and wisdom of the Holy Spirit. Next, they ask students to listen to God’s heart for another student who had a recent birthday. Afterwards, everyone shares what they heard! This is a favorite activity among the students.

Elementary and Middle School Worship

Sometimes Sunday School worship for the children is provided by our elementary and middle school students. There is a freedom to worship through movement and artistic expression! Worship practice is available during the school year.
Every year a week long Worship Camp is held in June. This camp includes worship focused devotions, fun activities, games, breakout sessions and worship band practices. The week ends with a worship set on Friday night!
Students attending do not need to know how to play an instrument or sing… the leaders can teach them!
Give your life to Jesus!
